MICROPLAN GROUP

After several years of work experience by a metrology company, Luigi Demagistri starts, in September 1976, its own activity of granite measuring instruments production. In the following years the business consolidates in the company MICROPLAN Srl; with the increase of demand for granite components and precision machine applications, stronger every year, he decides to create a production unit for these specific products: in 1985 the company "MICRONAG Srl" establish in Prato Sesia and was later renamed MICROPLAN ITALIA Srl.

Once completed, in 1995, the new headquarters in the Industrial Area of Roccapietra - Varallo (VC), the business was transferred to the new building where were carried out major investments in new plant and equipments. In the same perio (1991) the Group acquired a new company in France, with the acquisition of competitor ATELIER MAITRE EUROPE SA, after merged in MICROPLAN FRANCE SA with the sales subsidiary in France existing since 1989, of which Luigi Demagistri was General Director. In 1999, the group was expanded with the establishment of a new company and production unit of components (foundations of machine tools) in synthetic granite: the company CELITH Sarl, which gives its name to the composite material itself, is strategically situated in the same area of MICROPLAN FRANCE in La Forêt du Temple, in teh centre of France.
Since 2003, along with the standard production and granites on drawing production, thanks to the knowledge acquired both in the field of metrology - and in particular in the production of high precision mechanics, (pneumostatic guides, composite and innovative materials), both in electronic and software development, Microplan Group has developed special equipment that have solved problems of "measurement" of several customers, with a "building blocks" design system and the integration of products such as measure scales, laser systems, linear motors, etc...

Microplan Group, composed by the companies Microplan Srl, Microplan Italia Srl, Microplan France SA and CELITH Sarl, currently employs over 80 people, with specific tasks and aproduction management that ensures the high quality and faster deliveries.

The management of the Worldwide Customer between the companies of the group is based on production capability (up to 4.5 x 2 m in Italy, bigger sizes in French plant) to spoken language, logistics and production type (the composite granite is produced only in French branch CELITH Sarl).
